How We Work

We have team members working worldwide, from North America, Europe to the Middle East and Asia. We leverage agile methodologies to move quickly and stay focused. Communication is vital to us, and we rely heavily on Slack, Google Workspace, Asana, Notion, and GitHub to help us stay in sync. All the technology we build is free and open source. This role is a full-time remote position, and you’re free to work from anywhere. Be advised that most team meetings occur between 8 am and 12 pm Pacific Time (UTC-8/-7).  If you’re applying from a location where these hours are outside your usual working hours, we expect you to adapt to our meeting times.

 

About the Role

Tendermint is seeking a Customer Support Agent to join our team! You’ll report and work closely with the customer support manager. As the first agent joining the team, you will be part of the growth and development of our department. Taking care of the daily queries we received from our community and helping to create internal documentation and standards procedures. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for a dynamic environment and you’re not afraid of new challenges. You’ll work closely with product, design, and marketing teams. Responsibilities

  • Help our users get the most out of our services by explaining the product & providing amazing support.
  • Effectively diagnose and resolve user concerns and issues through support channels.
  • Cooperate with internal counterparts to ensure timely resolution of customers’ requests and problems.
  • Provide high-quality service to achieve and uplift users’ satisfaction.
  • Discover the reasons for users’ contacts and eliminate the need for it to ever happen again.
  • Analyze user feedback and continuously look for ways to improve user experience.
  • Collaborate with internal documentation & cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • At least 1 or 2 years experience using CS ticketing systems (i.e: Intercom, Zendesk, Helpscout, etc.).
  • Excellent writing skills and strong service mind.
  • Active listening and capacity of explaining abstract concepts in a clear and succinct way.
  • Strong attention to detail, you don’t miss a dot and you’re able to replicate & troubleshoot what the user is storytelling.
  • Excellent computer literacy and ability to learn and navigate new software using multiple platforms.
  • You are a self-motivated and independent fast learner.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working for the blockchain industry.
  • Passion about what cryptocurrency and blockchain can do for humanity.
  • Prior relevant experience in financial services, crypto, and/or technology.
  • Flexibility to work on shifts.
