How We Work

We have team members working worldwide, from North America, Europe to the Middle East and Asia. We leverage agile methodologies to move quickly and stay focused. Communication is vital to us, and we rely heavily on Slack, Google Workspace, Asana, Notion, and GitHub to help us stay in sync. All the technology we build is free and open source. This role is a full-time remote position, and you’re free to work from anywhere. Be advised that most team meetings occur between 8 am and 12 pm Pacific Time (UTC-8/-7).  If you’re applying from a location where these hours are outside your usual working hours, we expect you to adapt to our meeting times.

 

About the Role

Tendermint is currently seeking a Marketing Partnership Manager, that will lead the overall relationship management of global partnerships to support our growth objectives. This person will be in charge of strengthening existing partnerships and exploring new strategic opportunities for Tendermint, as well as for the Cosmos brand.

Responsibilities

  • Take over the overall relationship management of existing partnerships, mainly with entities within the thriving Cosmos ecosystem, and offer new ways to grow those partnerships.
  • Serve as a key counterpart to Executives and Senior Management at Tendermint’s largest partners and become a reliable go-to person for them.
  • Identify and unlock new marketing opportunities with crypto companies already having business relationships with us. This includes cross-visibility deals and joint PR initiatives.
  • Actively seek new partnership opportunities, inside and outside the crypto space, to further increase the reach of brands under our management (Cosmos, Emeris, Tendermint).
  • Work alongside the business development team to include marketing initiatives in the business deals they are closing.
  • Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships.

Requirements

  • Around 5 years of experience in Marketing and related fields, and 3 years experience in closing and managing marketing partnerships and as well as a certain level of negotiation experience on commercial topics.
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders internally and externally within a large organization.
  • Acute understanding of the crypto space, its leading companies, and most influential persons.
  • A true sales-focused mentality to communicate and earn support for partner growth initiatives.
  • Strong ability in presenting fluently, communicating clearly and inspiring your interlocutors, capturing engagement, and driving action.
  • Deep level of curiosity, innovative and visionary mindset.
