As a Partnerships & Business Development Manager, you develop and manage relationships for incubated DeFi projects and help them to grow the protocol ecosystem and user base by driving partnerships and business development.

You identify and execute outreach to potential partners, manage incoming partnership requests, and act as point of contact throughout the partner onboarding process and maintain relationships. You assess and monitor key metrics of the DeFi protocols and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership and campaign initiatives. You work with cross-functional teams in order to orchestrate various support channels: yield incentive programs, user acquisition incentives, technical support, product composability construction, marketing support, and other partner introductions.

Skills:

Job Requirements

  • Strong passion and belief in the cryptocurrency space. The candidate is expected to be familiar with the leading DeFi apps, and have knowledge of how AMM and borrow lending protocols operate.
  • 2-4 years of work experience in consulting, blockchain business development or research
  • Financial analysis skills - able to model business plans and return on investment
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, ability to run with tasks with little direction
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Previous work experience in CeFi or DeFi business development is preferred

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and execute outreach to leading projects.
  • Manage incoming partnering requests from Web3 projects.
  • Assess projects in order to understand value proposition, competitive advantages, team experience, commercial traction.
  • Analyze and recommend support actions: yield incentive programs, user acquisition incentives, technical support, marketing support, other partners introductions.
  • Assess and monitor key metrics of the DeFi protocols and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership and campaign initiatives, recommend corrective actions if necessary.
  • Collect feedback from partners and the community, recommend improvements.
  • Manage ad hoc business development projects and strategic initiatives.
